The topic of the 2nd GCEF dialogue was "Fresh Approaches, Deeper Impacts - Unseen Faces of CSR".
Mr. Evan Ramstad, correspondent of the Wall Street Journal (http://www.wsj.com) was invited and talked about CSR's fundamental core by mentioning several company cases that opened new landscapes of CSR innovation for dual value creation, economic and social values. He also emphasized effective and authentic CSR communication strategies and practices.
Forum participants from Korean subsidiaries of IBM, Loreal, Siemens as well as headquarters of Korea Exchange Bank, Hyundai Motors and POSCO and a former executive of Kotra shared their experiences and opinions about various topics of CSR including importance to be Glocal (Global + Local).
