Ms. Angela Joo-Hyun Kang, Founder and Executive President of Global Competitiveness Empowerment Forum (GCEF), gave a lecture on ESG and Sustainable Development of Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) at the 21st anniversary ceremony of the opening of the IFEZ, held on the 3rd floor of the main auditorium of G-Tower in Songdo, Incheon, Republic of Korea, on October 15, 2024 to all IFEZ employees.
Ms. Kang analyzed and shared the cases and implications of 15 free economic zones (FEZs), special economic zones (SEZs), industrial Parks (IPs), and cities in 12 countries (Singapore, Japan, China, India, Vietnam, UAE, South Africa, the United States, Costa Rica, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Poland) across 5 continents for the future sustainable development of IFEZ, which aims to become a global top 10 city and a global business innovation hub by 2040. She emphasized that differentiated innovative ESG management should play a key role and presented 4S (Signature, STEAM, Stakeholder, Sustainability) as a strategic direction.
