Ms. Angela Joo-Hyun Kang, Founder and Executive President of Global Competitive Empowerment Forum (GCEF) was invited as one of the juries of the Impact Awards to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Cartier Women's Initiative (CWI), a globally renowned program empowering women entrepreneurs of Cartier HQ as its global corporate philanthropy activity.
CWI has been supporting the total number of 262 women impact entrepreneurs in 62 countries around the world from 2006 through its competitive application review and in-person interview presentation. The total amount of grants disbursed is 6,440,000 USD. Ms. Kang was one of the Asia-Pacific juries from 2012 to 2014 and invited to participate in in-person competition review and award ceremonies.
Nine former CWI fellows were selected for assessing the extraordinary social and environmental impact that their business have achieved over the years. The Impact Awards celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Cartier Women's Initiative (CWI) cover three categories - Improving Lives, Preserving the Planet, and Creating Opportunities, improving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The first-place, second-place, and third-place awardees were announced on March 6, 2022, during the Impact Awards Ceremony in Dubai, UAE.
