Angela Joo-Hyun Kang, Founder and CEO of GCEF gave training regarding CSR(Corporate Social Responsibility) and ethical management of IT industry for employees of e-Litecom Co., Ltd., a UN Global Compact signatory and executives of its business partners at the tranining center of the company in Suwon, South Korea on November 26, 2008. The training was done with joint lecture by Lee, Jun-Suk, Team Manager of Global Compact Korea Network. The purpose of the training is to help e-Litecom understand more about ten principles of Global Compact and their application in corporate context with comparison of its current ethical management. e-Litecome is a publicly listed company in KOSDAQ, certified with ISO 9001and 14001 manufacturing small version of LCD back lite unit(BLU). It is famous for the best techonology standard and quality in that area in South Korea. Especially, from 2005, e-Litecome has been endeavoring to fulfill economic, social and environmental responsibilities through ethical management drives both in its headquarter and its factory in China. Many of practices related with ten principles of UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption have already been applies in its business activities under solid wills of its founder and CEO.
