Global Competitiveness Empowerment Forum (GCEF) organized the Fair Player Club Seminar for Compliance & Business Ethics of Electronics Industry in Conference room 9-10, 25th floor, GS Tower on November 5, 2015.
It was co-hosted by Korean Electronic Association (KEA) and Global Compact Network Korea (GCNK), organized by Global Competitiveness Empowerment Forum (GCEF), endorsed by the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy (MOTIE), Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) and sponsored by Siemens Integrity Initiative.
This seminar was the third education seminar of Fair Player Club (www.fairplayerclub.kr), a public-private sector platform to promote compliance and business ethics. Korean Electronic Association (KEA) co-signed with the industry associations of automobile, construction, machinery, and railway for cooperation in the launching ceremony of Fair Player Club on May 19, 2015.
The seminar started with the opening speech of IM, Ho-ki, Head of Management, Support Team, Korean Electronic Association (KEA). IM, Hong-jae, Vice President and Secretary-General of Global Compact Network Korea (GCNK) presented regarding 'Introduction of Fair Player Club and Global Anti-Corruption Trends', and Angela Joo-Hyun KANG, Founder and Executive President of Global Competitiveness Empowerment Forum (GCEF) presented regarding 'Trends of Compliance & Business Ethics of Electronics Industry’.Also, JUN, Min-gu, Director, Marketing Team, BSI Group Korea presented ‘BS 10500: Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS)‘ and KWAK, Hyung-sok, Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau, ACRC, presented ‘Prevention of Dishonest Solicitation‘. PARK, Jong-kun (Ryan), Regional Compliance Officer, Siemens Ltd. Seoul, KIM, Young-jo, Senior Finance Specialist, Intel Korea, and CHO, Young-joong, Manager, Humax shared their company cases regarding Compliance & Business Ethics.

JUN, Min-gu, Director, Marketing Team, BSI Group Korea presented the introduction of Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS), Bribery Act (UKBA), FCPA of US, BS 10500, the response plan for companies and KWAK, Hyung-sok, Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau, ACRC presented the outline of ‘Prevention of Dishonest Solicitation‘ examples of violation and dual liability.
PARK, Jong-kun (Ryan), Regional Compliance Officer, Siemens Ltd. Seoul shared their company cases regarding Compliance & Business Ethics such as Siemens Compliance system, Siemens Compliance Organization, and Collective Action. Through these cases, Siemens showed that Compliance is their top priority. KIM, Young-jo, Senior Finance Specialist, Intel Korea introduced their Ethics & Compliance Governance, Ethics Leadership Program, Ethics & Compliance Excellence Award, and CHO, Young-joong, Manager, Humax presented their company cases regarding Compliance & Business Ethics and present condition of operating Anti-bribery Management System (ABMS).
All participants received the Seminar Completion Certificate issued by Global Compact Network Korea (GCNK) and ‘Fair Play Rule Compliance Package of the Fair Player Club Seminar for Compliance and Business Ethics of Electronics Industry’.
