Writer gcef [Date : 2012-12-04 15:12:49 ]    Subject Competitiveness Empowerment - Labor Relations GCEF has implemented the External Communications Project regarding global competitiveness of labor relations for Korea Labor Foundation under the Ministry of Labor and Employment of South Korea. Its purpose is to change perception of CEOs and corporate executives, responsible for labor relations of the top ranking 500 companies in Korea Stock Exchange by analyzing and promoting positive progress results of labor relations in South Korea. The Project has outreached to CEOs, corporate executives and opinion leaders by authoring and sending 8 paged brochures in both Korean and English in order to improve their perception about labor relations of South Korea, often undervalued in World Competitiveness Index by IMD and GLobal Competitiveness Index by WEF. CEO survey results show that the public image was lower than the actual reality of labor relations in Korea based on the data results, largely because CEOs continue to hold a negative view on the issue. The 8p brochure in English shows positive and substantial progress of labor relations of South Korea.
